I didn’t find any information on internet on cycling the salt lake from south-west to north-east, a stretch of 35 kilometres. Locals told me it wasn’t possible, I didn’t want to believe them. I crossed a couple of years ago in Bolivia the Salar de Uyuni (the second biggest salt lake in the world). Now I wanted to give this one a try. It’s the second biggest lake of Turkey.
